1881.07.01 The Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers
organised as the county regiment of Fermanagh, Londonderry, Tyrone and Donegal, encompassing its Militia infantry [see below] and uniting two regular battalions:
 
1924.04.14 formed one corps with The Royal Irish Fusiliers without change of title, having lost Donegal from the Regimental District by the independence of Ireland
1937 reconstituted as a separate corps
1968.07.01 united with The Royal Ulster Rifles, and The Royal Irish Fusiliers, to form
