reduced to cadre at Bradford, sponsored by 73 Engineer Regiment RE (V); some of Q Battery absorbed into E Company Yorkshire Volunteers; also formed: 272 (West Riding Artillery) Field Support Squadron, 73 Engineer Regiment RE (V) at Bradford, reviving a sqn number from 129 Construction Regiment RE

  1971.04.01 reorganised as two units:

  1977 272 Sqn transferred to 74 Regiment RE
  1989 269 Bty reroled as an independent airmobile field battery
  1992 272 Sqn transferred back to 73 Regiment RE; A Coy amalgamated with D Coy, 3rd Battalion Yorkshire Volunteers, to form B Company, 3rd/4th Battalion, Yorkshire Volunteers and West Riding Artillery lineage discontinued
  1993.03 269 Bty attached to regular 19 Regiment, RA
  1999.07.01 units reorganised:
   
  • 269 (West Riding Artillery) Battery, 106 (Yeomanry) Regiment, RA at Leeds, reroled as an air defence battery in support of 22 Regiment RA
  • 2 Troop, 106 (West Riding) Field Squadron, 73 Regiment RE, reduction of 272 Sqn
  2004 269 Bty support role transferred to 16 Regiment RA
